Eira Dance Theatre (formerly The Motion Pack) is a UK-based ambient dance company, creating meditative encounters that inspire stillness in the busyness. Through interdisciplinary arts, our work unfolds like the slow drip of coffee, offering time to dive into the imagination and inspire harmony in a world of social and ecological dissonance.

Eira Dance Theatre started as The Motion Pack in 2022, shifting to its new name in a 2024 rebrand. We started with our debut production Rain Pours Like Coffee Drops which toured Wales and featured at London’s VAULT Festival in 2023. In late-2023, The Motion Pack shared the first research of In The Silence of Blossom at The Dance House in Cardiff, starting an ongoing research into seasonality and environmental listening. This progressed in 2025 through The Place’s Resolution Festival where Billy performed alongside Maggie Chan in Golden Leaves.

Currently, Billy is developing Gentle Streams with the initial seed being shared as part of YMa and Ransack Dance Company’s Arrive platform and then the next sharing being as part of Swindon Dance’s Reverse Pitch programme.
