How many more hands will we hold?
And what else will our hands meet in their lifetimes: morning coffees, saplings, photographs, threads?

The Poetics of Hands Meeting is a tender dance project, contemplating on our potential to craft, carry memory and connect through hands.
Curated with a grounding soundscape of Gayageum by Seoyoung Park, sensitive movement and tactile invitations for audiences, this is a moment to slow down, listen and reimagine how we touch, hold and tend to the world we live in.
An “ambient dance”, giving life-filled space amidst a busy world of overstimulation.
The project started through a 2026 Artist Research Commission from National Dance Company Wales and then has been further supported by Arts Council of Wales Create and International Opportunities funding branches alongside partnership with Swindon Dance, Dance Blast, Ransack Dance Company, Kuo’s Astral Bookshop, Yilan Park of NCFTA, Southern Jump, University of Taipei, Old Pond Frog Jump, CICo, Key+ Dance, NDC Wales, Aberystwyth University and Pon-Ding.
